Prosperous Africa Education Foundation

Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. Like Slavery and Apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.

When Help Start Education Foundation needed a partner and reliable mentor to bring tech support to the many students of the BYU-Pathway program in West Africa, we connected in a fated chance meeting. This led me to establish Prosperous Africa Education Foundation in Ghana to partner with Help Start as the on-the-ground vehicle to distribute, monitor and mentor this support. Thus far, we have provided a community computer lab/resource center with full and reliable wifi services, and laptops to over 70 students.

Now with the ever increase assistance from Help Start Education Foundation, we not only deliver hundreds of laptops and Chromebook to BYU-Pathway students in Ghana but to hundreds more inside other African countries.

Thanks to the collaboration of Prosperous Africa and the Help Start Education Foundation, the Abomosu STEM Senior High School in Abomosu, Ghana, also received a much-needed boost to their technology infrastructure. The donation of desktop computers with UPS, all networked to a server, a printers, a scanner, a projector and an PA system helped significantly enhance the learning experience of the students and teachers at the school. The computer lab was also fully furnished for students and teachers with solid air condition units installed to handle any number of occupants and also keep the devices cool at all times.

With this donation, students at Abomosu STEM Senior High School will have access to the latest technology and equipment, providing them with a more engaging and dynamic learning experience.
